This is not your average bland tasting Mexican. Mi Casa is affordable but very flavorful. I think the photos don't do it justice. While it is fast food, it's a nice enough interior to sit down without feeling like you're at a hole in the wall. The staff are friendly and I appreciated their advice on what to eat.

The food is cooked with love. Especially the carnitas. Best carnitas in town . The service is always great and friendly

I love Mi Casa, have been going for years. My go-to's are the carne asada tacos and churros made FRESH to order. The cajeta and crema fillings for the churros are *chefs kiss*

I come here for lunch occasionally. Service is great, pretty much everyone who works here is a sweetheart. My favorite thing on the menu is the two taco plate. Great little spot for Mexican food in a city with not many affordable options.

Good food, friendly staff, very clean restaurant. Nothing fancy, but was the perfect stop for a bite to eat after my daughter's gymnastics competition.

Fresh, tasty, great portions, friendly people. Fresh corn tortillas, chips, guacamole, Chile rellenos, beans, salsa verde. Blackened tomatillos in fresh salsa verde, flavorful guacamole. I went off peak (around 3pm, had just purchased a bike round the corner). This hit the spot. As a mom and someone who shows love through cooking, I felt the love in the food and the lovely owners / staff. So glad to find good Mexican staples close by, can't wait to take my parents there next month.

I've lived down the street from this restaurant for more than a decade and I finally got to try it out! The hours have challenged me in the past. I had a chicken burrito and it was standard, big enough for two small meals which I always appreciate. Two unique things about this restaurant worth mentioning, the bathroom was noticeably clean. The other is the autograph wall next to the counter. It appears that this may be a favorite eatery for our fire and police personnel...always a good sign. The wall is full of appreciative service signatures. I'd likely add this restaurant to my go-to local restaurants, but just need to pay attention to their hours.

Home style Mexican food with very welcoming customer service. The carnitas tacos are very good here. Mainly pork shoulder nothing exotic. The mixed shoulder parts had nice crispy bits and soft bites probably cooked in lard. GOOD stuff. The house made beans were delicious! Half pureed and whole; a little watery but very good. The salsas (red/green) were both mild yet flavorful. I gotta ask if there is a spicy salsa next time. Only thing I don't recommend is the chile rellanos. I wish they used a softer cheese. The hard cheese they use just wasn't palatable. The horchata drink is home made and wonderful.

We live about 5 blocks away and we always pass Mi Casa, but never had gone until this past Sunday. We wanted to get some carnitas and found out that Mi Casa sold them by the pound. Called ahead and placed our order for 1 lb of Buche and 2 lb of carnitas (they also do cueritos and costillas by the pound). As soon as you walk in, the smell of carnitas makes your mouth water. The lady that gave me my order mentioned the carnitas are made estilo Michoacán in a cazo de cobre, which helps add color and flavor to the meat. We picked up the food and the smell was so good. We were not disappointed at all, it was so delicious (especially with my mom's homemade tortillas). Definitely glad we decided to check out Mi Casa and now have a go to carnitas spot. Looking forward to getting carnitas, and some cueritos/costillas next time.
